Jeg var ved at gå ud med min normale såvel som foretrukne Mint N ‘Chip Ice Cream, da denne Artic Zero fangede mit øje. Det er 150 kalorier for hele pint af mynte chokoladekage -smag! Uhørt!

Gennemgang af Artic Zero Low Calorie Ice Cream:

Elsker, at det kun er 150 kalorier til pint, men det smager også ekstremt lavt kalorieindhold. Dette tilfredsstiller muligvis ikke en “rigtig” istrang. Konsistensen er en smule underlig – type lignende når jeg lægger så godt Xantham Gum i mine smoothies?

Jeg ville få det igen, hvis jeg bare ønskede et volumen, ikke slags dessert af høj kvalitet. Jeg forstår, at mange mennesker kan lide høj kvalitet i forhold til mængde, hvis det er dig – ikke få dette.

Da jeg reddede så masser af kalorier med isen, toppede jeg den med gode tilbud på granola. såvel som alt var ideelt med verden.

Running Underwear–Is it worth it?

Hej! I am on my way to Portland for the Hood to coast Relay race best now! But, before I am MIA for 24 hours on the open road I thought we ought to talk about running underwear… I got a terrific question from a reader (below) on is running underwear ‘worth it’.

Firstly, I love your blog! Your humor and fun attitude about running always gives me a little extra motivation when I’m in a running slump.

Secondly, my question. recently when I’ve been shopping for running clothes/gear/shoes I’ve discovered that running underwear has become a popular item on the racks. None of my runner pals really know much about it other than it is kinda pricey, so I was wondering if you have ever tried this out, and if it is really any different from everyday normal underwear? Sorry if that’s a TMI question, but hopefully you can answer it!

I made a fancy plate so I wouldn’t eat it all while cutting it up. But, I did eat a lot while cutting too!

With red wine because we’re trying to be fancy ?

And no red wine and cheese pairing is complete without dark chocolate!

Insert : I also had some random trail mix that missed the video camera and a few handfuls of cereal – oops!

I have been wanting steel cut oats and I picked up some quick cooking steel cuts oats (oxymoron?) from TJ’s. I made a big bowl of that for dinner and completely did it up with nuts and trail mix as toppings!

Note to self: I was a little heavy handed with the trail mix and handfuls of cereal today and didn’t take pics of it ? I just want to be aware of that because it was mindless eating NOT intuitive eating. It’s a process…

Running Hunger

Wow, these last few days of not running have made me realize how much running impacts my appetite! I have absolutely not been as hungry as usual. It has also been a little bit much easier to avoid night time snacking! That is the one pleasurable surprise to come out of my very sad running-less days ?

So, as long as I eat according to my hunger and NOT according to my routines then I’ll be fine during this time off ?

After kick boxing I had to stop by school, then the store and now I am scarfing down lunch before my PT appointment.

I made a veggie burger on a sandwich thin with hummus and ketchup.

On the side I had sweet peppers that weren’t sweet at all. These are the worst sweet peppers ever. Boo.

I changed the appointment for my MRI reading to tomorrow – I’m very anxious to see what it shows!

But, for now I’ve got to jam out of here and get to my appointment! I haven’t been able to spend a lot more than 5 minutes at the computer today – so I’ll respond to comments and questions later tonight ?

2010 kommer til en ende: Tak!

Noget at se frem til

Fredag ​​Favoritter Blog Tid Randomness

1. Denne tomatbærer til marathon kører. Bortset fra – hvorfor gjorde de ikke en bananbærer?! Gør løbere i Japan som tomater over bananer ??

2. Utroligt bløde gap tank toppe. Vi gik ind i Gap på turen, fordi Janae’s taske gik tabt. Jeg identificerede disse utroligt bløde tanke på salg og hentede et par til layering.

3. Min store hoved hjorte sweater fra målet. En af mine venner (ikke på turen) plaget mig om denne sweater et stykke tid tilbage, så jeg tænker altid på det, når jeg bærer det. Jeg er glad for et par af jer som det og spurgte om det.

4. Store kvinder stor kærlighed. Jeg fangede på finalen i dag og er utrolig trist, det er forbi. Elskede dette show!

5. Lent. Vokser op i kirken (lejlighedsvis ville de lade mig ud til tisse) Jeg elskede Lenten sæsonen. Jeg har bare lyst til, at det er utroligt åndeligt og specielt endnu meget mere end jul. Men jeg savnede Ash Wednesday, fordi jeg var ude af byen (og ikke var klar over alligevel). Heldigvis skriver mine POP’er mig en skyldig påmindelse.

6. Min røde kuffert var en gave, fordi mine peeps ved, at jeg rejser meget. Jeg husker, da jeg fik det til at tro, at det var for meget, jeg er bare ikke fancy og plejede at bare rejse med gamle TJ’s tasker eller hvad som helst.

Men når jeg går gennem lufthavnen, er jeg utroligt glad, jeg har denne kuffert, fordi den ruller sidelæns eller regelmæssigt og er let at manøvrere med en isekaffe i min anden hånd (hvilket er afgørende at rejse).

This morning I got in a nice 12 mile run with my head movies. I wanted to get in some good mileage since I’m headed somewhere super super super cold and won’t be able to run outside. (Like, I literally don’t own the proper gear to safely run and um, hello I don’t like the cold.)

Then, I fueled up with lots of eggs and bread with AB.

Now I’m headed to Minneapolis!! I’m excited because it’s somewhere new

I’m scared because it’s somewhere very cold!!

I sipped iced coffee while I packed. vegas was MIA. usually he liked to put as much cat hair as possible on all my stuff so I don’t mess around with other cats while I’m traveling.

This is what my lil walk to the airport looked like:

Freshly meal delivery Service

Freshly is a meal delivery service where you can order a complete week’s worth of breakfast, lunch and dinner. YOU pick what meals you want and there’s a big variety to choose from for each meal. They are cooked to order.

Then, twice a week the meals are delivered to your front door. They don’t require any work – just heat and eat!

Breakfasts:

I loved the spinach and mushroom scramble. I paired all the breakfasts with some kind of carb since I workout or run in the morning and like to have a really big first meal of the day.

I love how perfect this omelet is and wish I could take credit for cooking it up!

This one was paired with toast, banana and almond butter.

Meal delivery Lunches:

I really liked everything I ate from Freshly. The tuna was the dish I was most excited about since I love tuna, but don’t have it that often. and sadly it was probably my least favorite out of all the meals.

Freshly is very healthy and fancy (and I’m kinda not) so even though it was good, they use vegan mayo and it wasn’t the OG tuna I’m used to eating.

The Freshly dinners were my favorite for a few reasons:

1. They tasted great.

2. I didn’t have to cook.

3. Not cooking meant I also didn’t snack like a crazy person while cooking <- this is a really bad habit and I probably get an extra 600 calories a day from it! trust me kids, if it was easy to stop I would have a long time ago. I’ve tried gum, tea, standing on my head, shock therapy… nothing works except staying out of the kitchen. I tried two meals that had zucchini noodles! I really really liked that and am considering getting a spiralizer to make them myself. This chicken parmesan with zucchini noodles was one of my favorites! This is actually a dinner but I ate it for lunch. Don’t tell the food police. This curry with quinoa was a good one too. The veggies tasted really fresh – not sorry which is hard to find with pre-packaged meals. Overall thoughts on Freshly meal Delivery: Weight loss: I didn’t weigh myself before or after so I can’t personally speak to this. But, Freshly does say customers can lose 5-10 pounds in their first week. Cost: It is pricey, but you are paying for both the convenience of someone cooking food and delivering it to you. An entire week of breakfast, lunch and dinner – 21 meals is $229. That is about 10.90 per meal, which is kind of pricey compared to food you’re making at home, but reasonable if you compare it to a take-out restaurant that is going to give you fresh, healthy food delivered to you (and you don’t have to tip the delivery guy). There are also plans for 6, 9 or 12 meals a week so if you just wanted a bunch of lunches or dinners you could mix and match.
